(Hope this is all right...)
"Come on, all of you," said Skimble, padding his way to the station door and peering outside cautiously. "Any time we waste could be fatal for Simeon." The street outside was deserted, save for some trash blowing in the wind. The Railway Cat took one last look around, then stepped outside cautiously, and gestured behind him for Mungojerrie, Rumpleteaser, Alonzo, Tumblebrutus, Coricopat, and Tantomile - all of whom were following him.
"Now, we head for the tracks," said Skimble, gesturing west. "Let's go."

The patch tom looked to Skimble with questioning eyes. Since when did the railway cat become somewhat of a leader? No doubt he himself would have been better suited for the job, but consumed with thoughts of a bloody end for a certain magical tom…it was perhaps for better that he let someone else stand up. “And where do you suppose we look…?” It came out perhaps a bit too brash, but this was Alonzo.

The two thief were currently tryign to out handstand eachother. They were both in an up right handstand, claws digging into the ground, bodys tensed at almost every lean muscle. So far it looked like no one was gonna win, they were both holding their balance perfectly, after all they were acrobats right? Then Skimble started to speak, they both lifted on paw from the ground, and turned around to face Skimble still holding their handstands, then Mungojerrie looked at his mate. "Draw?" He asked stratching behind his ear with his free paw. "Ya' wish." Said Rumpleteazer spreading out her legs in a straddle and instead of coming out of the handstand started to walk in the handstand.
Mungojerrie frowned. As much as he and Rumple liked to have fun he knew that this was no time to be playing around, he rolled out of his handstand and jogged up with the rest of the group. Letting Rumpleteazer win.
Rumpleteazer smiled happily and did a opened her legs into a split then did a front walk over and jogged to catch up with the group.

Skimble closed his eyes and breathed deeply, willing himself to be calm, though it certainly wasn't easy with Mungo and Rumple up to their usual antics. "Copper Avenue is where we're headed," he explained to Alonzo, choosing to ignore the tom's somewhat harsh tone. "Although Simeon could be anywhere inbetween here or there. You heard Tugger, Demeter dumped him in an alley rubbish bin somewhere on the other side of the tracks. . . " The Railway Cat suppressed a shiver. "So that means we'll be searching every alley till we find him."

Tumble padded up to Alonzo's side and simply nodded, not saying anything. He was drooping quite a bit, his head, ears, whiskers, and tail all held very low and lifeless. At least they were getting away from Quaxo. Tumble wanted nothing to do with the little black cat...
... except he wanted to hold him close, and have Quaxo curl against him, and whisper sweet words, like I love you, against his fur, and he wanted Quaxo to give him that soft little smile of his, and he wanted him to mean it.

{Poor Tumble. D=}
Rokkonen followed the Railway Cat, knowing full well he had not been invited. Still, Simeon was his foster-adopted-nephew, and he felt somewhat responsible.
He also didn't want to be around his hormonal, crazed sister. He felt a little sorry for the cats back at the station.
Rokko caught up to Skimble in a few glides and walked insynch with him, not saying a word. He fixed his golden eyes on the horizon, his body tense and rigid, waiting to spring. He was not a very happy camper at the moment.
MEANWHILE...
Simeon sat at the bottom of a dumpster, alone, cold, and afraid. He mewled helplessly, scratching at the cool, gray metal. He could see the navy sky above him, but it only made him feel more miserable.
"Mamama!" he called, his nails scraping the walls and floor. He wanted somebody, anybody. Even the little baby kittens who annoyed him to end would be acceptable.
"Maaaa!"

Alonzo turned his head to look at Tumble. Pathetic was the word that sprung to mind. If the tom kit wanted to get over this, it would have to be soon. Cats that were so depressed got sick. And he wouldn’t have his brother getting ill over a worthless tom like Misto. Snarling at the meer thought of that black tom, Alonzo brushed his cheek against the patched ones cheek. “Not going to be able to find a lot with your head hung…”

"Not gonna be able to find a lot anyway," Tumble muttered, closing his eyes. "'Lonz... I don't feel good. Like I'm going to be sick, except without actually being sick." Depression was a completely new state of mind for Tumblebrutus. Aside from the days after Simbol's death, the time before Quaxo showed up, Tumblebrutus had always been cheerful and happy. He rarely ever even got upset. Now, however, his heart was broken, and he didn't know how to deal with it.

“Its called being sad. And its only going to get worse. Your going to have to get over this Tumble. Misto isn’t a good cat. He used you. He -used- you Tumble!” Stopping, he placed a paw upon his shoulder and steered him away from the rest of the cats, looking to him with eyes mixed of anger and sorrow. “He used you to get over being rejected. He never loved you. Hell he probably never cared for you! Sooner you see that and get over it the better we will all be Tumble….” Yes, harsh words to his little brother. But he wasn’t going to allow him to sink into a depression over that waste of fur.

Alonzo's words did absolutely nothing good for Tumble's mood. He looked away, biting his lip and raising a paw to wipe away tears. Tumble knew Quaxo had used him, had never loved him. He didn't need it rubbed in his face again. He didn't need to be reminded that the cat he trusted above everyone else (Quaxo had been his confidant about things that not even Deuteronomy knew) had completely taken advantage of him.

“I know its hard to hear. I know…” Alonzo tried to find it in him to comfort the tom. But would babying him make it worse? Tumble needed to get through this. Alonzo would support him. But he couldn’t carry him. “You don’t need him. Your better then that. And him. Com’on. There is a kitten that could die…we need to find him.”

Tumble felt horrible. To begin with, there was the whole Quaxo mess, but then, to add insult to injury, he couldn't bring himself to have even the drive to find the little missing kitten. Simeon was only weeks old, and Tumble would rather mope than do his job. He felt like such an absolute failure, and he hated it. He said nothing else to Alonzo, just continued to stand there and fight back tears.

“Comon…” Moving behind the patched tom, Alonzo butted his head against the small of Tumbles back gently, urging the cat to move on. “Simone needs our help….” He knew the effort was probably in vain, but if he could just get him to move…interested in something else….distracted.

Tumble shook his head, wiping his paw across his face again. "No... you go. I'll go back. I won't be any help out here. I'm too distracted. I'll probably end up getting someone hurt. I'm sorry..."

Skimble, who had begun to lead the group across the tracks, stopped as he heard his son's words. Turning around, he approached Tumble and placed a reassuring paw on his shoulder. "Tumble ..." he began, then said softly, "...you can go back if you want, but ... we'll need all the help we can get in finding Simeon. How could you hurt someone?" He paused, then added, "I know it's not the most pleasant of ideas, but if you can concentrate on finding him... it will take your mind off of ... of other things." His gaze shifted a bit before returning his son - a gaze that said he knew the source of Tumble's emotion.
