Before you read the rest of this post, please listen to what I have to say here. I dont intend to actually play this character - in fact, I find his character laughable. However, Mustang has actually been accepted on a different forum and I'm curious as to whether he'd also be accepted on other forums as well.
It's sort of a protest against a particular kind of OC. Mostly it's just me wanting to know whether what's acceptable on one board is also acceptable on a range of different boards.
Please treat this thread as you would any other character thread.
Name: Mustang
Gender: tom/male
Age: 20 (aging like humans)
Tribe: Jellicle
Looks: His fur is completely pink from head to toe, with the exception of his ears and tailtip, both of which are black.
his eyes are a bright cerulean blue that look green in certain kinds of light.
He also has industrial body-piercings on his forearms, three in a row on each arm (they look like three sets of two steel balls), and wears black cowboy boots.
Personality: Mustang is a bit conflicted. On the one hand he works really hard to be macho in order to compensate for being born with hot-pink fur (going so far as to become a ninja-boxing champion in the lower city), and on the other hand he's so very gay (and loves gardening, baking, and knitting doilies).
He acts as though he's in love with himself but in reality he hides a very deep-seated self loathing.
He is deeply conflicted over whether to use his powers of invisibility for good or for evil, but that doesn't stop him from turning invisible now and then just to pull a joke on one of his friends.
History: Abandonned by his horror-struck mother, Mustang was brought up by a friendly biker gang who taught him all he knows about being butch.
Unfortunately, the bikers had an ulterior motive for taking him in, as they thought Mustang's pinkess was the perfect gimmick and convinced him to enter into the ninja-boxing championships. Mustang won through a combination of strength and his power of invisibility, but after that he swore never to fight professionally again.
Mustang left the bikers and migrated to the jellicle junkyard where he found acceptance (sorta). He has been living there since and is nearly oblivious to the conflict going on around him.
Sample Post:
Mustang surveyed his garden with pride, hands on his hips as he basked in the glory that came from early-season roses. "Ahh," he sighed, "there's nothing like a beautiful spring morning when the flowers are blooming... Except maybe chugging whiskey and watching the footy."
