Hey everyone,
The game has dropped to a standstill as we wait for a couple scenes to play out. Rather than waiting another month for the pirates to win and Demeter to kidnap her kittens, we're just going to lock those threads and jump ahead (Orange, CS, feel free to play out the rest of the kitnapping if you'd like and post it in the one-on-one).
Here's what happened.
Macavity managed to spot Grumbuskin preparing to kill Griddlebone, and he zapped him with a powerful bolt of lightning. Grumbuskin released Griddle, and she got away safely.
Grumbuskin was not amused. He went after Macavity, and he may or may not have captured him (will be up to Mange whenever she gets her computer fixed).
Flattpot and Ukir gathered a bunch of new slaves to replace the old ones. They told all the old ones who survived that in order to be freed, they had to prove they killed a Monnik. None of the slaves could satisfactorily prove that, so they were all rechained, Diavolo and Safa included.
Coricopat and Tantomile had their memories modified enough to return to the station with shouts of victory... but no memory of slaves.
Scythe managed to escape with Surripus, Merade, and Whiskus (Deuteronomy).
Jokaste and Smokkate were imprisoned.
Grum chose to stay at the junkyard and clean it up while reports of victory were brought to the Jellicles. He and his pirates hid all traces of slave involvement.
The prisoners were returned to the ship.
Demeter successfully kidnapped Apollinax, Alicia, and Simeon.
Aaaand... that's everything, I think. Let's continue from there.
