Cassandra groaned as beams of sunlight shone through the large hole of her over-sized bird house. She stirred a bit on her leopard print pillow tryng to get back to sleep. But once the dream was gone and you opened your eyes there was no chance. She tried again closing her eyes shut trying to remember where she left off in the dream. After about eight minutes a frustrated groan rang from her lips.
She stretched out on the pillow, her long arms and legs spread out as far as they could. She arched her super long back, her long tail wrapped around her now curled up arms and legs. Who knew that her tail was so long that sh could wrap it around her body. She always went through this before waking up, stretch then curl up, repeat eight times, then finaly get up. After the last stretch she finaly closed her eyes counted to her lucky number, eight, then poped up. Her sleek black coat was nice and shiney as always, her long flexible body limber and long as always. Her dark blue eyes sparkling as always, yup this was a good day. The walked across the floor of red satin pillows, she had given her birdhouse a make over, then she looked in the small bird mirror, it only showed her face.
She examined the long white stripe that went down the middle of her nose, then spread across her cheekbones making them stand out, and then cover her mouth. With a white mouth, her black lips stood out as well as her black whiskers. She gave her self a bath, smoothing down whatever fur was standing up, then examined her relfection in the mirror again. Perfect. She purred and examined her face from all angles, still perfect, okay time to head out.
The walked over to the large gaping entrance of the birdhouse, it was so large that she didn't have to bend down to enter, so she used a ripped peace of purple satin fabric to cover the entrance and keep out some of the light. Of course it wasn't fit well enough for it to keep out all of the light. She lifted the flap of fabric and walked out, the sunlight relfected in her eyes and off her fake diamond studded necklace.
She turned and looked at the birdhouse, it was so large it was probaly made for a hawk, and it was house shaped giving it a homey touch. But to Cassandras dispointment it wasn't painted, she got up everyday and wished is was, then she would pretty much have one of the best dens. But instead it was plain old wood. She sighed and shook her head, her tail flicking. The sun shown on her and warmed her coat, she let out a smal laugh and embraced it. Though she had gotten up to early it was a beautiful day, maybe she just needed to find a place to bask in the sun for a little wile.(Done once again it is short.)
