Quaxo burst out laughing as the kitten tackled Munkustrap... well, attempted to tackle him. He fell back against the walls and curled up, wrapping his tail around himself and trying to stifle his giggles.
"That was amazing, Munkustrap." he said with a wink. Quaxo reached over, deciding to save Etcetera from the wrath of Munkustrap's tickles, and pulled the kitten from his friend's arms, holding her in his lap.

Munkustrap laughed as well, letting Quaxo rescue the kitten. "I thought I was being attacked by a Pollicle," he explained with a wink of his own. "I had to defend myself!"
Etcetera curled up in Mistokitty's lap, her paws clamped protectively around her stomach, still giggling. "Munkstrap's the bestest fighter... for now!" She bared her little fangs and growled, reminding them of her future goal. Someday, she would be able to catch a rat!
"So." Munkustrap stretched and yawned, being careful of his back. "What brings you two in here?"
Etcetera pointed at Mistokitty. "It was his idea!"

"Decided to wake you up, Munk." Quaxo said with a little shrug, smirking at his friend and rocking Etcetera a little. "I didn't want to leave Etcy outside all alone so I brought her with me." Quaxo reached over and ran his paw down Munkustrap's arm, smiling a little. "I hope you don't mind, Munkustrap," he said quietly, yawning a little.

Etcetera watched Mistokitty and then reached out to run her paw down Munkstrap's other arm. "Hope you don't mind!" she echoed.
"No, it's okay," Munkustrap said, reaching out to ruffle both their ears. "I needed to be woken up anyway... but I was sure the yard was safe for the day with terrors like this one protecting it." He nudged Etcy under her chin, making the kitten giggle and grin up at Mistokitty. "Is anyone else up yet?"

Quaxo laughed at Etcetera's copycat and purred a little when Munkustrap ruffled his fur. He gently slid Etcetera out of his lap and went over to Munkustrap, sitting beside him and leaning against his side.
"No, no one else is up yet, Munk." he murmured, yawning a little. "And honestly, Etcy here shouldn't be up. It's not even dark yet, Munkustrap. But she's always up and about, isn't she?" The young tom laughed a little.

Etcetera purred too, going to sit by Munkstrap's other side and lean against him.
Munkustrap laughed and wrapped an arm around each of them. "My kitties. Well, come on, let's go outside and see if we can't find someone to play with, hmm?"
Etcetera bounced, forgetting to copy Mistokitty. "Yay! Play!"
