Macavity growled as he paced his den. He had sent a group of Monnik toms around to spy on the Jellicles this morning, and they were yet to return and report. He was annoyed, slightly. He sat and agitatedly(sp?) licked his chest fur. At this rate he would have to kill them when they returned, they had strict orders to return after midday, it was well past that time now.

Rumpleteazer looked at the small Chinese takout box, it was small enough to hold in her hands, and was full of catnip, it was from the Jellicles. Macavity requested them to steal it so he could posion it, he figured it would kill off a few Jellicles if their medical supply was posioned. She swished the catnip around biting her lip, she didn't want them to die, they were good cats, better then the Monniks. And they bathed. She sighed stopping near Macavitys den. "Mungo!" She whined tilting her head to the side. "I don' wanna' posin' tha' Jellicles, they ar' good cats." She added shaking her head madly. Mungo shushed her making his voice a whisper. "Don' worreh', we wont I got a plan." He said with a wide cheezy smile and a nod. Rumple giggled shrilly, they had been doing things like this lately, making Macavity happy by thinking he was hurting the Jellicles, but making it so they didn't hurt the Jellicles. Rumple rolled into Macavitys den Mungo tumbling in after him "'Ello Mac!" They both said at the same time, they bowed in unison, Rumpleteazer held out the box of catnip.

Macavity whipped around. "Oh it's you two...wait is that the catnip? I underestimate you yet again." He smirked, "Put it here I'll go get the poison...do NOT leave my den!" with that he stalked out to where he had stashed the poison earlier when he had collected it from...HIM He let out a snigger, the stupid Monniks thought he gathered this stuff himself, or made it. No, he had sources. He pulled some out from his hiding spot and sniffed it, ugh, it smelt horrible even to him.

Rumpleteazer put the catnip down then jumped behind Mungojerrie, she was scared of Macavity, Mungojerrie was very aware of that. And yet Macavity was always getting up in Rumpleteazers face, which scared Rumple, and annoyed Mungojerrie. Sometimes Mungojerrie wanted to box Macavity in the face, but of course both knew better. They both scrinched up their noses, they could smell the posion from here. "Ugg, tha' smells horri-horrihah- smells nasty." Said Rumple, not able to pronounce horrible, she slid out from behind Mungojerrie slowly.

Macavity hobbled in, balancing the poison on one front paw. "Glad you like it" he said his nose also scruched up from the smell. He placed the poison in the box of catnip and dipped a paw in mixing it. He then walked over to near his bed and grabbed a small bottle, about the size of his paw. He sheilded what he was doing from the theives.

Mungo and Rumple were right behind in in a momment they were both looking over a shoulder, Rumple the left, Mungo the right. "Watcha' doin'?" They said in unison a cheezy grin on their faces.

Macavity stayed silent and simply held a paw up, waiting a moment before unsheating one claw slowly. "Back off" he spoke through gritted teeth, no nosy cats were going discover his, the mighty Hidden Paws, secrets. He snickers.

They both took a step back, their head still over his shoulder. "So wha'," Started Mungo, "Are ya' doin'?" Finished Rumple. They both pursed their lips in thought, not getting the whole back off thing.

"Well, as you so rightly said the poison does not smell too nice, those Jellicles will suspect." he finished and turned unsheating all his claws "and I thought I told you to back off" he snarled

"Ooooh." They both said. "So ya' makin' it smell nice!" Said Rumple. "Now I ge' it." Said Mungo. They both put confused looks on their faces. "We did." They said in unison. "We too' a step back!"

"What?!" Macavity said "Are you defying what I said?" He stepped towards them "You should know what I do to those that disobey me!"

Rumple yelped and hid behind Mungojerrie, who started moving back. "No, we too' a step back!" Objected Mungojerrie holding up his paws to protect him, Rumpleteazer poked out her head from behind him. "Yeah." She added with a scared nod.

Macavity snarled then passed them the box, "Take this to the Jellicles, be quick and don't get caught, then come back here"

They both saluted and Rumple quickly took the box scampering off, an hour later they returned, which was a record time. They had dumped out the posioned catnip and replaced it with normal catnip. Rumple slid in first on her knees looking up at Macavity, she probally should have waited for Mungo, he smelled of the posion and she didn't so she didn't have to wasg off, unlike Mungojerrie who did. "Back." She said in a cheery voice, though she was a bit nervouse and it showed in her voice. Macavity gave her the chills.

"Hmmm?" Macavity sat up from where he had been lay, "That was quick...wait where's the other one? Was he captured?" He stood sharply ready to punish the queen and then race off to confront the Jellicles.
