Inspired by Spider's post about her cat, I bring you the pets thread.


This is my cat, Sydney. That thing by his hind legs was one of his favorite cat teasers.

I currently have two pet cats. If I can find photos of them, I will put them up here.

Mariah is a 12 year old female. Her fur is sort of a golden brown color, with patches of other colors. A few dark brown stripes run down her back, starting at the top of her head, and ending at her raccoon-like tail. She "adopted" my other cat when we first got her.

Viola is a five month old kitten. She looks a lot like Viola (my pirate character), but she is small, the smallest in her litter. She is stubborn sometimes, but not as stubborn as the pirate Viola. Usually, she is curious, getting into almost everything. She likes french fries. Her old owner told us that. My mom found an ad for black kittens in the Pennysaver (I am very fond of black cats. I had a former stray that I naned "Mr. Mistoffoles," but a year or two ago he died from eating holly leaves. I was very devastated, unable to sing the song I had named him after for months. Mom thought that having another cat would help me recover.) She called the place and said that she was interested in the longhaired female kitten. On the day after Valentine's Day, Mom picked me up from a party and that night, we took home a kiitten named Viola.
