Applying for a Character

If you want to join, just ask and give a sample post on this board (it only has to be a few sentences). That's pretty much all that's required. Name the cat you'd like to play and make sure you use correct spelling/grammar. As far as I know, all the names in the characters list are spelled correctly (though Rumpleteazer has variants).

If you want to play a cat of your own making, that's a little more complicated. I won't flat out say 'No,' but each made-up cat will be reviewed as they appear. Ask here to join as a made-up, and then send a description of your cat to all the moderators. I will get back to you once we've made our decision.

After you have a character, there's one more thing for you to do.

On the character list, every character has a bit of a blurb that briefly describes that character - what they look like, where they live, and what they do in the tribe.

Please write up a blurb for your character so the impersonal one I wrote can be replaced with one tailor-made for your particular cat. You can send it to me via PM, and I'll update the list.

A kitten named Electra walked down the alley. She went after a couple of mice, and then gave up, not being able to catch them. She continued to walk down the alley, wandering away from her home for a little bit. She wasn't going to go too far, but she wanted to explore.

Hello!
I'm Sonja (well, as you can see) and I am a sort-of new fan of Cats. I'm a huge theatre person but I never really looked into the musical until a fellow thespian troupe did it. (Not mine, sadly.) The boy I like (hee hee) was Munkustrap so I started looking into the fandom and I found I reallllllly love it. A lot. lol.

I've never roleplayed this fandom before - I have done RP before though - and I'm interested it trying my hand but all the characters I'd be comfortable with are taken so I may just lurk around a bit unless you really need someone/someone leaves, etc etc. So let me know.

Oh haha no, I wouldn't dream of touching Munk. (Inner voice: Unless it was Taylor in costume...hehe...those costumes are very smooth with little furry bits, very comfy!)

Well let's see... the characters I'd be best with are probably: Victoria, Teazer, Jemima, (Possibly, I'd have some trouble) Tugger, hmmm idk, other kittens possibly. Or if there's anyone you need I can try it out.

We're somewhat in need of an Alonzo or Admetus, I believe.

If you're not sure who those are, being a new fan and everything, Alonzo is the white cat with the black patches. Usually, he has a black patch on the right side of his mouth and stripes along his ears. Admetus looks a lot like Plato, but he doesn't have the fancy eyebrows. He's a red, brown, white, and black tabby cat, though he's mostly red and brown.

Oh I know them...I'd just be worried about giving them a proper personality since there's not much to go on from the musical.

Ha. n.n Well, from the movie, I've pulled that Alonzo is somewhat cocky, but overall a nice guy. You can pull your own interpretations, though! The only restriction on Admetus is that he's got two younger brothers - Plato and Tumblebrutus.
