Pouncival's voice cracked as he replied.

"Of course!"

It was highly embarrasing and he blushed even harder, but hopefully she wouldn't mind. Right? Being so close to the beautiful (and highly dangerous) Queen made him wobble slightly and he felt dizzy. Her breath was heaven to him! Hotels she was driving him. . .

Oh crap, he just fainted, didn't he? Too much for the poor Pouncival. He was now a lifeless heap in Bomba's lap.

It took a moment for Bombalurina to process what had happened. When she did, it was so absurd, she laughed aloud. Pouncival had just fainted ontop of her.

"Poor little guy," she said, and kissed him on the top of his head. Then, she gently set him down on the ground. Afterwards, she ran off in search of Munkustrap.

"Munky!" she shouted, using the childish nickname she had overheard Quaxo using. Then she spotted him and ran over.

"There you are!" she said. "Need help looking for that anti-social bag of fur?"

[Munkustrap Etc.]

"I found him," Munkustrap replied, nodding back toward the tunnel he had just left. "And don't call me Munky." He had had an interesting conversation with Quaxo just now. "Where's Pouncival?"

[Shannon]

Bombalurina laughed. "What's the matter, Munky?" she said. "Well, little Pouncival fainted. You can imagine why," she said and winked. "But don't worry, I set him down nice and comfy on the ground. He should wake up soon. I don't think he needs Jelly."

"Sooo..." she said, circling the tom, her tail dragging across his body. She stopped and sat next to him. "Are you seeing any queens, or are you too attatched to your work to notice the opposite sex?"

Munkustrap laughed despite himself. "Poor Pouncival. You're too sexy for your own good." He watched Bomba circle himself. "I'm currently not seeing anyone, tom, or queen, or, for that matter, much of my work."

Bombalurina lifted an eyebrow. "I didn't know you saw toms, Munkustrap. There's this whole side of you I've never seen before." She pretended to look over at his right side, then laughed. "Actually, I think I've seen every side of you."
